An Apology

The author was too busy with his tasks and thus did not realize that gameweek 32 has already commenced. Due to that, gameweek 32 preview will not be issued.

Official Apology by FPL Committee - Unlimited Transfers Until GW 2 Deadline

A great news to all fantasy managers. Due to the technical problems users experienced last Friday and Saturday, the Fantasy Premier League committee has released an official statement on the Premier League official website to apologize for the problem.

As a solution for the logging in problem, fantasy managers can now do UNLIMITED TRANSFERS until the deadline for gameweek 2! Yes, UN-LI-MIT-ED!!! A compensation for those who suffer and a free wildcard for those who has locked in their teams before the disruption of fantasy system. For those who have used the wildcard? No worries, as they will be restored to you. Fair and square.

FPL Reopens - Massive Graphics Improvements

Great news! After such a long wait, Fantasy Premier League for 2011/12 season is now opened!

This season, FPL comes with a massive renovation on its graphical interface. Silky smooth appearance, appealing tabs structure and eye-soothing 3D kits will definitely make you more addicted in managing your teams.

Some new rules worth mentioning:

• Any player who receive a foul that lead to a direct free kick goal are now awarded an assist.
• You are now required to pick a vice captain in case your captain does not play. Much better than emergency captain strategy of last season eh?
• Bonus points are now based on EA Sports Player Performance Index (PPI). More transparent obviously.
• More bonus points will be distributed from one match in the case of a PPI tie. More details on the official rule page.

The EPL 10/11 season is going to start in a month time! This means our favourite game Fantasy Premier League will be back as well!!! Have you built your squad at http://fantasy.premierleague.com yet? You better do it fast and learn the new rules before you play.

So, where are the guides? I know that you are waiting, patiently and impatiently. However, I am still doing the adjustments to the layout of this new site. I will start posting guides as soon as it's complete.
